Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. 10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!
Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.
The Cavalier is located 6 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, offhighway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. On the opposite side of Nelsonville is Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest.
In Southeastern Ohio there is something for everyone to do! Cyclists can ride from Nelsonville to Athens Along the Adena bike path alongside the Hocking River; ATV enthusiasts can venture into Wayne National Forest for hundreds of riding trails; Parents and alumni can visit Ohio University; and our connoisseurs of nature MUST visit Old Man’s Cave, Conkle’s Hollow and Rock House located in the beautiful Hocking Hills, named as one of BuzzFeed’s Stunning UndertheRadar Destinations to Add to Your Bucket List.

Due to the wooded and secluded location of Cavalier Cabin it can be difficult to fully remove leaves from the property, however I appreciate you letting us know your experience so we can make the check in process as easy as possible for guests! I also apologize to hear you were not able to access the laundry room during your stay. We do recommend for guests to reach out if they experience any issues as we can help resolve that problem quickly.
