Our gorgeous Fullbrooks Lodge has spectacular views of the surrounding hillsides within the rolling hills of Southeast, Ohio. Come to Hocking Hills and Wayne National Forest to have a wonderful time at a comfortable and secluded cabin located minutes away from all outdoor activities and local attractions. When you stay at the Fullbrooks Lodge, you are in the country with beautiful scenery. The Fullbrooks Lodge will feel like a home away from home for you and your guests. Our guests will be spending time at a well-appointed lodge that is comfortable, clean, and offers plenty of relaxation for a getaway with family and friends.

At the Fullbrooks Lodge, guests are welcomed to a lodge surrounded by pine trees and a well-manicured lawn which offers a great space for outdoor entertainment and relaxation. The lodge sits next to a private 52-acre property. Guests will be taken away by the breathtaking views of the forest from the lodge and the newly renovated gravel fire pit. Guests should take the time to sit back, relax, and get lost in the wide-open sky. At the Full Brooks, there is plenty of opportunity for you to get lost in the beautiful sunsets or starry night skies.

The back deck is spacious allowing our guests to enjoy cookouts, eat around the picnic table, take in the wonderful views, and relax in the hot tub.

Wander over to the newly renovated fire pit with benches, Adirondack chairs, and a swing. The fire pit sits on top of the hillside and overlooks a beautiful nearby pond and the private forest. Spend time under the stars, creating memories and roasting marshmallows around a crackling, warm fire.

Upon arrival, guests will notice the screened in front porch which is a great space for sipping morning coffee or enjoy outside time during a spring storm. Guests will walk into the Fullbrooks Lodge to a beautiful, spacious living room and fully equipped kitchen. The 3 bedrooms offer a place for our customers to “hit the hay” after a day of exploring all the nearby state parks.

The four-season room, that sits off the kitchen, is a great place for some peace and quiet – catch up on one of your favorite books or unwind with some local brews or wine! When staying here, guests will want to utilize one of the best features – the outdoor space.

The Fullbrooks Lodge first started out as a farmhouse located on 100+ acres of farmland known as the Ferguson Farm. The previous owners, Miki and Jay, purchased the farm from Avanelle Ferguson. Miki & Jay has also opened the Full Brooks Café in Nelsonville prior to owning the Fullbrooks Lodge. They named Fullbrooks Lodge after their grandmother, Daisy Fullbrooks, who resides from Sydney, Australia. When they purchased the property, they spent time renovating the farmhouse into a lodge. When we took over the lodge, we decided that we would keep the same character and continue to add to it!

When you rent the FullBrooks Lodge, you are renting a complete experience. We like to show our guests how much we appreciate them. Our guests receive a 10% discount on their next outdoor adventure at Adventure Pro Outdoors. Book a canoe, kayak, or tube rental along the scenic Hocking River or book a guided ATV/UTV tour on Wayne National Forest to experience Hocking Hills like never before.

We aim to open the pools 1 week before Memorial Day Weekend; however, it is dependent on the weather from year to year. We aim to close the pools right after Labor Day Weekend. We cannot guarantee that the pools will be open longer than that.

24 feet round pool with a depth of 54 inches.

Are the pools heated?
No, the pools are not heated therefore we have to wait until Memorial Day Weekend to open the pools.

Do we supply pool toys?
No, customers should plan on bringing their own pool toys.

Is there a lifeguard on duty?
No, there are no lifeguards on duty. Swimming in the pool is at their own risk. Customers sign a Pool Waiver at check-in that goes over the liability and use of the pool.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES!

Great, spacious cabin

Very nice, clean, well equipped cabin with a beautiful lawn rolling down to a lovely farmhouse pond. Accessible to main roads in Nelsonville and maybe a half-hour's drive from the best of Hocking Hills. Staff at 1st Choice was amazing, would absolutely work with them over going through the various rental apps any day of the week. Amazing value for the money.

It was a beautiful view, overly stocked and very clean.

We liked everything about our stay except the canoeing was very dangerous with the low water levels. Had a lot of issues with one of the canoes tipping a lot and only used 3 miles of the 6 we paid for due to the conditions.

Enjoyed the country feel of the lodge.

Spacious, plenty of necessities including towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc. however, there was evidence of mice in the unit and we could not get it caught.

Beautiful view & spacious cabin.

We love coming to this cabin. It accommodates our family very well. We love the yard it provides for our pup & how clean & spacious the cabin itself is. The staff is always so friendly & helpful. We will be back for many more stays in the future!

The place was quiet, clean, cozy and comfortable.

The stay was good. It was clean and all necessities were included. Cabin was mostly as advertised. Although we were not seeking luxury, the cabin was listed as a luxury cabin. That is a bit of a stretch, but again, we weren't hoping for luxury. Quite simply, the word luxury isn't necessary.

Brookview Lodge

Absolutely loved staying in this cabin. Enjoyed a 2 night stay with 3 other friends for my birthday, and they loved it too! The first night, the hot tub was not working, but the maintenance people came to fix it that night around 1230am. They were unsuccessful and we were not able to use the hot tub the first night, but the maintenance people came out early the next morning and fixed the issue right away. We were able to use it on our second night, and they took off 15 for the inconvenience of not being able to use the hot tub amenity the first night. The cabin is beautiful, clean and spacious. You will need to bring your own spices to cook with and your own ice. But other than that, everything is stocked and ready. We made lots of yummy meals and did a load of laundry! The fire pit is awesome as well and we had plenty of firewood. I would definitely stay here again, despite the hot tub malfunctioning. And I appreciate the customer service provided to make things right.

Wonderful Weekend with Family

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at Fullbrooks Lodge! The property was picture perfect! We enjoyed fishing in the pond and having camp fires at night looking at all of the stars. Everything in the Lodge was well-kept and perfectly clean! We hope to return in the future! Would highly recommend to family and friends!

Absolutely wonderful!!!

Our stay at Fullbrook Lodge was just about perfect. The cabin was spotless and well maintained. We had everything we need and more. Any question we had were promptly answered and the staff were sooo friendly Brooke. I would highly recommend 1st Choice to anyone looking to stay in the Hocking Hills area and we will definitely be returning.

Suggestions for improvement

We stayed at Fullbrooks lodge which was wonderful. Clean, high end appliances. I do have a few suggestions, though. Most important, there is no exhaust fan over the stove, so I set off the fire Alarm by just frying bacon. The security system kept alarming and we were unable to disarm it. The bed in the room closest to the front of the cabin felt like it was going to break. We still had a great time And would come back.

Convenient and amenities galore

Our three night stay at Fullbrooks Lodge was such a treat! The house is even more spacious than photos suggest, and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen is probably better equipped than my own, and was perfect for preparing our own meals. We loved all of the extra comforts, such as the gas grill, several seating areas out back with the beautiful view, and the hot tub. Fallbrooks Lodge

We were so blessed to stay at the Fullbrooks Lodge. We loved the cabin. It was cozy,clean and I loved the decor. The outdoor space was just as lovely. We were also very impressed with the accessibility to the cabin for our 3 year old with cerebral palsy. The ramps made all the difference! Jennifer is so sweet and did all she could to accommodate us. We will definitely be back when we can stay longer than a weekend!

Outstanding

My wife and I stayed in the Fullbrooks lodge for our 1 year anniversary. The place was beautiful, spacious, and clean. Beautiful views from the back porch. Customer service was also wonderful. We went down the day after a big snow storm, and they upgraded us from a smaller cabin to the lodge for no extra charge so that we could avoid traveling in the snow with our car. Our only quibble is that expectations for how tidy the place needed to be when we checked out seemed a little high such as havin

Outstanding Property and Customer Service

Stayed at the FullBrooks location with seven college aged boys. I was absolutely thrilled when they allowed us to stay in this cabin. It blew our minds. I heard from every single one of the seven that this trip was one that they will never forget, and we have 1st Choice Cabin Rentals to thank for that. The FullBrooks cabin was modern on the interior, yet still had the outdoor, rustic feel that a cabin should have. There is a fire pit that looks over a lake as well as a perfect spot for watching the sunrise. There is a hot tub, as well as only about a 20 minute drive from Athens and Hocking Hills. Thank you 1st Choice Cabins for making this stay one that we will never forget! We will definitely suggest this cabin/business to our friends and family.

Great time!!!

We were very pleased with the cabin. Our only disappointment was that we were so busy with graduation that we didn't get to enjoy the cabin as much as we would have liked!! We would love to come back!
